How to Heelside No-Comply 180 Slide
1
Stand wide on your longboard with your heels hanging slightly off the heelside edge of the board.
2
Carve heelside until around 45º. Once you start to feel your back wheels slip out, step off the heelside edge with your front foot.
3
Once the board crosses 90º, push off the ground with your front foot.
4
Use your back foot to continue the full 180º slide rotation of your board and step back on with your front foot.
Pro-tip
A key to making sure the slide is consistent is to never put more than 75% of your weight on your front foot when it touches the ground. The Heelside No-Comply 180 Slide is the base of most no comply slides so once you get this, lots more open up.
